Farmers: Grace Mena & Eric Rojas

We met Eric Rojas, mill manager for Lomas Al Rio, on our 2014 trip to origin. Eric operates Lomas Al Rio like the captain of a very well-run ship, keeping his keen eye on all aspects of the milling process beginning with excepting only the ripest cherry from the surrounding farmers. The results are, in this case, a great example of a well-crafted natural process coffee (seeds dried on the patio in the cherry), that hits all the right notes; lots of fruit component, with a creamy body!
